城市创意设计平台型活动的缤纷实践

Abstract

In 2010, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization officially approved Shanghai's membership in the "Creative Cities Network" and awarded Shanghai the title of "City of Design". Since then, Shanghai's creative and design industries have continued to flourish, attracting a large number of excellent design enterprises and talents to gather, with an annual average growth rate of industrial value-added exceeding 10%. As one of China's most internationally-oriented cities, the Shanghai municipal government has been actively promoting cultural and creative industries to promote urban innovation and development. To this end, it has continuously improved relevant policies and provided a favorable development environment and resources for design enterprises and talents. At the same time, Shanghai has actively expanded exchanges and cooperation with creative design industries around the world.

In recent years, Shanghai has nurtured a variety of urban creative design platform-type activities, with continuous attempts and adjustments in their content organization, brand operation, and influence expansion, such as "Shanghai International Design Week", "Design Shanghai", and "World Design Capital", among others. These activities have created an atmosphere for the development of Shanghai as a "City of Design", providing opportunities for citizens to access excellent design, platforms for young designers and brand enterprises to showcase and release their works, and windows and opportunities for overseas designers and brands to enter Shanghai and China.
