Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province located in the heart of China, boasts a profound cultural history spanning over 3,500 years. Nowadays, it has gained global recognition for its bridge engineering feats, advanced high-speed rail technology, and exemplary resilience as a city.

In 2017, Wuhan joined UCCN as "City of Design", a testament to its consistent collaboration with other cities worldwide. Through the hosting of international conferences, the Wuhan Biennale, and other events, Wuhan has not only strengthened its international exchanges but also injected new vitality into its cultural and tourism industry. Amidst the thriving creative industry, Wuhan places great emphasis on nurturing innovative talent. Through deep cooperation with universities and other initiatives, it continuously drives talent development and innovative advancements in the design field.
