Abstract

Queretaro, located in central Mexico, is a center of creative and economic development and a popular tourist destination. Querétaro joined UCCN as "City of Design" in 2019. After this, Querétaro's urban design strategy focuses on the inheritance of local culture and attracts international attention by integrating local handicrafts and design innovation. Querétaro is not only a center for creativity, but has also consolidated its unique position in the global design field by promoting cooperation among designers and building a design and creative industry park.
