Berlin joined UCCN as "City of Design" in 2005. As the political and cultural center of Germany, Berlin's cultural and scientific influence extends globally. Through implementing policy measures such as the "Future Initiative," Berlin has strongly supported information and communication technology, media, and the creative economy, continuously stimulating the city's creative potential and enhancing regional economic vitality. These comprehensive initiatives have earned Berlin the reputation of being the "most dynamic startup hub in Europe" and successfully propelled high-tech, creative, and IT industries to become the economic pillars of the city.

With its unique creative atmosphere, innovative spirit, and rich cultural products and industries, Berlin demonstrates strong urban appeal, becoming a global hub for creative industries and talents. Meanwhile, the open and inclusive social environment in Berlin provides fertile ground for the diversity of creative industries, contributing to the city's innovative, diverse, and interdisciplinary urban development characteristics.
